Blockchain is a puzzle game that revolves around... chaining blocks. Yeah, pretty self-explanatory in all honesty. Use different colored blocks and their different properties to create shapes and solve puzzles to reach the goal while navigating through a bottomless abyss and different barriers. Press the white button in each level to win!
Controls
WASD to move, and that's it!
Mechanics Help
As you solve more puzzles, you are introduced to more and more of the game's mechanics. If you are confused about a puzzle in the game or are just curious, then here is a quick explanation:
There are 5 different types of blocks: Yellow, Green, Blue, Red, and Purple. The one Yellow block in each level is the player. It can stick to Green and Blue blocks. Red blocks can only stick to Purple blocks. Green blocks stick to all block types except for Red blocks. Blue blocks can stick to Yellow, Green, and Purple blocks, but becomes unable to stick to other blocks once it has stuck to one. Purple blocks can stick to all blocks except Yellow.
There are also 3 different types of buttons: Red, Blue, and Orange. Each type of button has a corresponding door type that when activated, will remove the door allowing you to pass. Red buttons remain active for the entire level once a block has moved over it. Blue buttons remain active for the entire level as long as all of them in a specific level are pressed at the same time. Orange buttons require all Orange buttons to have a block overtop them in order to keep the door open and do not remain activated like Blue buttons.
Using these rules, you need to find clever ways to link blocks together to reach the goal!
